Hooray for...

...toothbrushes, white board cleaner and Synthrapol!

Thanks to the 3 products mentioned above (and a LOT of scrubbing by Breakfast Girl, her mom AND her dad) the Scandi dancing dress is once again in wearable condition. Yay!

No more bright green lines on the apron. Whew. Okay, so there are a few stray green marks, but I am sure the folds of the apron will hide them.

But mom, it is supposed to wipe off!

It seemed like such a good idea to teach Breakfast Girl how to print using a white board and dry-erase markers.

We got a really great deal on a cute board with kindergarten-type lines for printing on one side and a blank second side for drawing. Every day, she either practices her name, some letters or numbers, or copies a sentence I write out for her. It was going quite well. Until today.

Those of you who know Breakfast Girl know that she loves to wear dresses. Every day. The fancier the better. She also loves to dance so, of course, one of her very favorite dresses is a cute little number a dear friend made for dancing in the local Scandinavian Festival. Very sweet with a cute little apron attached. Now, usually I do not let her wear this dress around the house but today I thought, "what's the harm?" Hmmm. Now I know...

Sweet, wonderful Breakfast Girl was working on her handwriting when she decided to draw on the apron of her dress. It was, after all, a wipe-off marker, so it should just wipe-off, right?

Although this is certainly logical (especially if you are 5) it is not even a little tiny itty bit true.

A few decisions

Okay, well the colors are much better now that Wonderful Husband has fixed them...
still a bit on the bright side, though.

They were very, um, green...

Honored. Okay.

The jury is still out on breakfast.

So, I can't decide...

-if the colors on this blog are cool or an eyesore
-if I should be mad or honored to have been christened The Crazy Lady :-)
-if Breakfast Girl should be required to eat a healthy breakfast in order to retain her title.

Hmm. Too late at night to be considering such things.

And yes, I do love the tea, the glass and the crazy person that gave said glass and tea to me.
